Where are Ocean Sports Jetski based?

We are based in Saxon Wharf Marina, next to Shamrock Quay on the River Itchen in Southampton.

What time do the jetski training courses start and finish?

Our jetski courses run between 0930 – 1700 unless otherwise stated.

Can I take the course on my own jetski?

Yes you can. We can offer any of our RYA Jetski Training courses on your own jetski.


Do you have life jackets for me to use?

Yes we do, we can provide you with life jackets to use during your course or hire.

Where do I stay when I’m on my jetski course?

We have a recommended list of accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes, please ask us at time of booking your jetski course, for our local accommodation list.

What do I need to bring with me to my jetski course?

A full list will be sent to you with the joining instructions. It’s also useful to bring with you paper, pencil and some lunch.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The great thing about our location in the Solent, is whatever the weather we can always find a suitable location for your training.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes, Saxon Wharf has plenty of parking.

How fast do the jetskis go?

Our can reach speeds of up to 50mph.

How many students are there per instructor on a course?

Our jetski courses are taught in a group, with a maximum group size of 6 students on 3 jetskis. For the duration of the course, you will have the opportunity to work on a 1-2-1 basis with an instructor.
