Ocean Sports Tuition has been delivering high quality in-person and online RYA training on the South Coast since 2004. Founded as an RYA Windsurfing School in Mudeford Harbour, Ocean Sports has evolved into an established RYA Advanced Powerboat Centre, Yachtmaster Academy, and jetski specialist, providing comprehensive training to both boating novices and seasoned sailors alike. Ocean Sports offer a variety of RYA courses including motorboat, powerboat, and jetski training, boating theory, marine consultancy, filming support and waterman services.
Practicing on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups, our jetski training in Southampton focuses on providing the best possible experience to our students, using the latest equipment, boats and crafts. Working in an intimate environment with friendly, approachable instructors is our recipe to success, giving our students the confidence to consolidate their new skills on the beautiful Solent and in our Southampton classrooms. We often see students returning with family members and friends to share their experience and learn new skills.
Our Location
Ocean Sports Tuition provides a variety of RYA courses including PWC courses from our location in Saxon Wharf Marina, Southampton. Our purpose-built offices are in the converted winch house situated at the top of the slipway, a stone’s throw from the Solent.
Owner & Founder, Andy Murray
Since establishing Ocean Sports in 2004, Andy has endeavoured to provide the perfect learning environment for both beginners and the experienced. As an avid boater, Andy enjoys spending time on the water with his wife, two children, and Eli, their dog.
